THELMA’S CANCER FUND

$175.00

If you have met me, you know how much my little Thelma means to me, she is my babygirl!

Thelma has been on a very difficult journey since February. What started out as vet visit for frequent vomiting quickly turned to a cancer diagnosis in a matter a month. This was a shock to all of us, as she has only just turned 5!

The official diagnosis is aggressive large cell lymphoma in the form of a growth that is occupying her belly. We were given an estimate of 1-3 months of time left with her. Through our sadness, our goal was to keep her happy by giving her independence, agency, and lots of love.

We were recommended to call an Oncologist, specifically Ally Veterinary Specialist Center, and we made an appointment just to make sure we were making the most informed decision possible for our babygirl. What they told us took us by surprise. They said that with immediate treatment, the cancer can be treated with a 75% chance of success. We were flooded with a new sense of hope as well as tears of joy.

So here we are, week two of chemo, turning a pinhole of light into a beacon of hope. To help fund this journey for Thelma, I am opening commissions on this piece and they are completely customizable. Pick a flag color, thread color, and then I will start doing my thing and getting it to you as soon as possible!
